How to Enable Captions in Facebook Videos on iPhone and iPad

On your iOS device, you need to adjust your device settings to show captions on Facebook. Step #1. Open Settings app on your iOS device → Tap on General.

Step #2. Now, tap on Accessibility → Tap on Subtitles & Captioning.

Step #3. Next, turn on the switch next to Closed Captions + SDH.

Henceforth, you will get captions in your videos. Keep in mind that some videos may not have captions.

Turn ON Subtitles in Facebook Videos on Android

Facebook for Android allows you to get subtitles right from within the app. Step #1. Open Facebook on your device. Step #2. Now, tap on the Menu button → Scroll down and tap on Settings and Privacy → Tap on App Settings.

Step #3. Next up, tap on Subtitle Settings.
