How to Change SIM PIN on iPhone
Note: When you change the SIM PIN, you need to enter the current PIN and then you will be able to modify the SIM PIN. Step #1. Launch Settings app on your iPhone → Tap on Cellular or Mobile Data option from the list. Step #2. Next, tap on the SIM PIN option. Note: If you have not set up SIM PIN previously, the Change PIN option will be disabled on your iPhone. Step #3. Toggle on “SIM PIN” if it is off, then tap on Change PIN. Step #4. As soon as you tap on Change PIN option, you will be prompted to enter your current PIN. Step #5. Now, enter the new PIN and re-enter the same PIN to confirm your action. Just enter four-digit PIN so that you can easily remember the number. That’s it! You have successfully changed SIM PIN on your iPhone. Next time, when you give your iPhone to someone, just restart the device.
Why should you change SIM PIN?
As said earlier, finding default SIM PIN for your carrier doesn’t take more than a couple minutes, and it can sometimes compromise your safety.
